Eight Great Reasons to Tell the Truth Barbara A. Lewis  Telling the truth let's everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught). Other people trust you more when you tell the truth.  You don't have to tell ( and remember ) more lies to keep your story straight. You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value. Telling the truth helps you to feel secure and peaceful inside. I agree with this quote. 

"Dare to stand alone. Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone." Thomas S. Monson  I think that this quote means you should always stand up for what's right even if you stand alone. I also think that this quote means that you should always do what's right. I agree with this statement. An example of this quote can be like: 

"I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating." Sophocles  I think that this quote means people should fail at something and do it with honor instead of cheating. I also think that this quote means cheating on things is bad. I agree with this quote. I'd feel better if  I knew I'd done something right. An example can be like: Cheating in a sport and you know that you cheated and not say anything. 

"Nothing is ever gained in doing what's wrong." Wilford Woodruff I think that this quote is very true. I think that this quote means you don't get anything from doing what's wrong. I also think it means doing wrong doesn't prove anything. An example can be: like flipping off your parent. What do you gain from that? NOTHING!

No, never! I'd die first." Karl G. Maeser  I think that this quote means Karl was a man of his word. I think it also means he'd rather die and keep his word than to break it. I sort of agree with this quote. I mean I would keep my word but not that far of an extent to die for it.

Abraham Lincoln  I think that this quote means Abraham stood with doing what's right. I also think that this quote means stood with people for what's doing the right thing. 

"Character is higher than intellect." Ralph Waldo Emerson  Reflection: I think that this quote means the way you act is a higher than intellect. I agree with this quote in some way. I also think that this quote means character is a important thing. 

"I trust that my hard work will pay off ." Tyler Haws  I think that this quote means if you realy work hard on something then it will pay off sooner or later. I also think that this quote means Tyler tusted that his hard work would pay off. For example: If i start sudying for a test for hours and hours and I passed that test then I would know that my hard work payed off. 

"They're only truly great who are truly good." George Chapman  I think that this quote means that people who are great are truly good. I also think that this quote means that great people are good people. For example: People who like donate things to charity. I think that is a good example. They're great people by donating and they're truly good people.

"I won't cheat." Dale Murphy I think that this quote means that Dale Murphy said he would never cheat. I also think that this quote means that Dale wouldn't cheat in his games. 

"Character Matters Most." Dale Murphy Reflection: I think that this quote means having character is an important thing to have. I also think that this quote means that having the right mind set is good. 

"Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all."     Benjamin Franklin I think that this quote means a person with a good heart is greater than like things such as money, cars, watches etc... I also think that this quote means a person with a good heart can make you more happy than money and stuff like that. 

"It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today." James Freeman Clarke I think that this quote means whether you do good or bad it's still going to affect you in the future.  I think that this quote also means doing good right now will affect you as a person in the future. Also doing bad is going to affect you as a person right now or in the future. 

"Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly." I think that this quote means you should always ask yourself if you're doing the right or not. If you feel that you know what's right then you should do it. I think that this quote also means that you have to think about things before you decide on choosing. For example if a cashier gives me a extra 5$ back on accident and I saw I would think to myself "is it right or wrong" to tell the cashier that they gave me extra change. 

"Act well your part; there all honor lies." Alexander Pope  Reflection: I think that this quote means if you do the right thing then you're honorable. I also think that this quote means that true honor is how you do something. For example: if I help someone cheat on a test and they say they did it without cheating. Another example can be cheating in a team sport and you not do anything so you can win more games. I also think think that this quote means if you cheat or do something bad in a thing then, you are not being honorable about it.

"Right is right only when entire." Victor Hugo  I think that this quote means that if you tell the partial truth then it's not 100% true. I also think this quote means when you tell the truth it has to be the whole truth not just like a white lie. An example can be if I told my parents I was going out to hang out with friends at there house but we go to a party instead of there house.

"Only those live who do good." Count Leo Tolstoy  This quote means people who do good on a daily basis are really living. I think it also means that people who do only bad things don't get to live life. An example can be if I donate to those in need. A different example can be if I start stealing from people then, I'm not living my life. 

"What's right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right."   Albert Einstein  I think that this quote means if something and it's a bad thing then, it's not right. Sometimes doing the right thing isn't always the most popular thing. An example can be: if 90% of the world are taking drugs then, you shouldn't do it cause the most popular thing isn't always right. A different example can be: giving free haircuts to the homeless.
