  1. Memorial day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.

  3. Make a soldier’s day by writing a thank-you card or note to send overseas. Show honor and respect by visiting a local veteran's cemetery, or war memorial.

I think it also means that people who do only bad things don't get to live life. An example can be if I donate to those in need.
