I think that this quote means making the right decisions is always the thing to do. I also think that this quote means you shouldn't do decisions that are popular or cheap, you should the right decision no matter what. An example can be like: if you see somebody doing something wrong and you have an opportunity to do something then do it

I think it also means that people who do only bad things don't get to live life. An example can be if I donate to those in need.
