Duties and Responsibilities: Examine patients to diagnose and treat bone, joint, ligament, and skeleton problems, diseases, or injuries.Perform surgery to repair, salvage, or replace bones and joints, reconnect nerves, or otherwise improve skeletal health.Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, changing treatment plans as circumstances dictate.
Salary: $512,000
Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree and 4-5 year residency in a hospital
Demand for this particular career: a high degree of manual dexterity good hand-eye coordination, excellent vision and visual-spatial awareness good organisational ability and effective decision-making skills excellent communication skills to deal with a wide range of colleagues, patients and their families emotional resilience, a calm temperament and the ability to work well under pressure physical stamina to cope with the demands of surgery the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Reflection: I don't think I would want to be a Orthopedic Surgeon. I wouldn't want to be one because I don't like the whole surgery thing.
